It was DS1's third in his 6.5 years. Nothing serious, and we've discovered that having a spare tire on the back of a vehicle kind of works as an extra bumper. We were stopped at a red light, in the left turn lane, in the rain, when someone 2 cars behind us didn't stop. They hit a car which bumped into us. His tonsils were "the size of ping pong balls" and his adenoids were huge too. He is not being allowed to nurse because the sucking might cause bleeding. We are treating it with antibiotic drops as if it were pink eye. The eyelid swelling and redness in the white of the eye are much better today. It may be viral instead, but if that is the case the drops won't hurt anything. DS2 rolled off the couch this afternoon. I occasionally leave him on the couch, nestled near the back cushion, when he falls asleep in my arms. Sometimes I leave him on the pillow that was on my lap, and snuggle that up against the back. I had a waterproof lap pad on my lap, then put a prefold cloth diaper under him, and another one over him loosely. His bottom looks better this evening than it did this morning, so I will probably do the same thing tomorrow.
